Personal Giving

Each of us has been blessed in so many ways. In return, we have the need to share our blessings with others.  The biblical image for this is called “tithing,” that is, offering a portion of our blessings in return to the Lord.  A part of your tithing can be the support of the Seminary in its work of preparing men for the priesthood and the diaconate and for preparing both women and men for various services in the Church.

How can I make a gift?

A gift can be made to the Seminary in a number of ways.  Personal checks, cash, stocks, real estate, life insurance and bequests are methods donors have used to support the Seminary.

We urge you to contact your accountant or other professional advisor to determine the best tax-advantaged method of giving. See also PLANNED GIVING.

Should you wish to discuss giving to the Seminary, please feel free to contact David H. Dix , our Development Consultant, at (412) 321-8383 x28. For our address, please contact us.
